Meter Pedestal
Replacement of the meter pedestal may be required when replacing your electrical panel depending on the condition of the existing one.
Electrical Grounding
A ground wire must be ran from the electrical panel to the cold water pipe before the water meter when installing a new electrical panel. We also need to add two ground rods outside if non are present near the meter pedestal.
Bonding
The cold and hot water pipes must be bonded with the gas pipes when replacing the electrical panel, this connection is made near the water heater.
